Microsoft recommend the 32-bit version of Office because it’s more compatible with most other applications, especially third-party add-ins, even on 64-bit Windows operating systems.
If you already have the 64-Bit version of Office installed, you must use the 64-Bit version of Access.

If you require the FREE runtime version of Microsoft Access then CLICK HERE, then click Download.
– To get the 32-Bit version select the x86_en-us.exe file
– To get the 64-Bit version select the x64_en-us.exe file
and click Next.
Locate downloaded file on your computer.
Right-click file, select ‘Run as Administrator’ and follow prompts to complete install.
